Florists...

Hi Ladies,

Was wondering if any of you would mind sharing/FMing your florist quotes to me. I'm trying to get an idea of cost for a reception of 180 people with low centerpieces. Just working on budgeting and would like some idea of what I am talking about!

You're looking at about $2K or so.

That would include about 18 tables (CPs from $30-$50 for low) - could be higher depending on the type of flower.

Shameless bump! Is anyone else willing to FM me with general info on florist pricing?? I'd especially love info about florists in Suffolk County.

I shopped around a lot and found that the grand total always came up the same. The individual things vary at each florist. These were the average range I saw

high centerpieces - $100 - $200
Boquets - $50 - $200
corsages- $15 - $25
boot.s - $10 - $20
table arrangement for B&G table or place card table - $100 - $200
Usually they throw in free stuff like petals, votive candles, toss boquet (well, mine did)

We splurged on the flowers since we cut corners on other stuff.
The total was $2,800 but we needed 20 centerpieces so I think we got a good deal for what we're getting.
