I've already met with pedestals and flower michele. I already have a favorite but I'm looking to meet with a few other florists before I make my decision. Anyone have recommendations of a florist they booked with that they think I should meet with? Sure I can do a search, but this is more fun.

I'm planning on meeting with LA Blossom. I haven't met with them yet so I really have no opinion other then what I have heard

Burton's is very good. They are pretty cheap and they say the reason they are cheaper is b/c they don't advertise and their facilities aren't the best looking. I would have prob. been turned off by them when I first saw their shop but, i have seen their work at many of my friend's weddings.

We went with With All My Heart. They do great work and their prices are reasonable. I think they are an LIW vendor too. Good luck!

I will probably be checking them out in the next 2 weeks so I will let you know how it goes

I heard they are really great. My friend is getting married at the east wind in 09 and I think she is planning on checking them out

Her work defintly stood out from the other florists I checked out.

I met with Pedestals, Flower Michelle, and Designs by Rose... in the end I went with Pedestals but I was very impressed with Desgins by Rose. They are a mother daughter team in Howard Beach, but they personally remember every bride they ever worked with and what flowers they had.
Their price was the cheapest.

I ended up with Pedestals for a couple of different reasons but I was torn between Pedestals and Desgins by Rose

check out designer florals. sharon's got lots of great ideas. and of course, the usuals like verbena, la blossom and designs by rose i would check out.

I'm using them too. I got my weddin dress there. I was totally turned off when I sw the place from the outside. But you can't beat there prices.
