ask what flowers are in season for your wedding. If you can use ANY flower you want or if specific flowers are more.

Do you want high or low center pieces? they basically ask you all the questions, lol

ETA- my wedding day the flowers were early, fresh and just like the sample was! I cannot say enough about them and how wonderful they were.

I really don't know what I want...know of any good websites to look at pics of different flowers??

If you're in Nassau County - I HIGHLY recommend Creative Florist in Island Park. It's right across from the Island Park post office near Pops, the liquor store.

I worked with the owner, Doris, who was SO accommodating with my budget. We decided I'm getting 9 bouts for the guys (1 is FOB, 1 is Ring Bearer), Bridal Bouquet, 8 BM Bouquets, 4 mother/grandma/MIL corsages, 10-12 Centerpieces, Flower girl bouquet with mini basket of petals.....

...get this... :)

...my quote was $1920.

And if you think that's a little quote, please don't let that discourage you that she might not be talented or the flowers aren't fresh/cheap,etc. She's a small shop - she's the owner, they do weddings/parties ALL the time, and she's just incredibly reasonable and sensitive to how expensive weddings are! And let me tell you - she was SO creative with my CP's, I can't wait to post pics of the samples that I'm getting in August.

FM me for details - i can tell you a cute thing to say to her if you go meet with her and she'll give you a great deal because my mom's best friend is Doris' like best customer!

check out flower barn! he worked w/ my budget and even for high cp's the price wasn't bad (but we ended up going w/ the lows bc FH wanted to save some money in this area- flowers are not that important to him i guess )
