I am trying to figure out how i am going to afford getting married in my favorite place. In doing that i am going to have to cut back on some other things. I was thinking of getting flowers for a regular florist instead of a 'wedding florist' What does everyone think and more importantly does any one have any quotes of the cost difference between a reg florist or a wedding florist.

Re: Florists
I went to my local florist and got a quote for everything but centerpieces (I don't need them) 6 small Boqs (large peonies) Flower girl petals 8 Boutineers 2 corsages 2 med church flower baskets 1 large arrangement for my RH fireplace mantle pew decor
About $1,000 give or take

Re: Florists
No, I got my CP's at Michaels for about $10 each. They are in my album, the pics arent that great, but they are prettier in person. I would start going there now if you are looking for something inexpensive. I'll FM you the florist

Re: Florists
Go with low centerpieces those are key.
Also if you go to a florist and say this is what I want to spend per centerpiece what can I have that might work too.
I have two numbers for you of florists. Let me know if you want or need them.

Re: Florists
Sure ill take them. i was thinking of doing low and high centerpieces so i can still have what i want but it will cut down on a portion of it. David Tututera does it all the time!

Re: Florists
My local florist was more than the florist i booked with...a wedding florist. I went with Pedastals. I didnt get centerpieces but i told them my budget and they totally worked within that. I am going back to add centerpieces

Re: Florists
Try Burtons as well..I believe that they charge per item not what type of flowers..they just have to be in season
