Has anyone been to florists yet? Any recommendations? (Preferably someone inexpensive) I wasn't sure if it was too early to start looking..I'm looking to do centerpieces with lanterns. Thanks!

Re: Florists
Check out Flowers by Burton. I haven't met with any florists yet but will be considering them. My cousin is using them and a friend of hers used them and was happy. I have heard their prices are one of the lowest but they still do nice work.

Your getting married a week after me... :) Love the lantern Idea. I actually just bought a lantern and I am trying to put something together myself for a centerpiece. Trying to save money where I can. I got those square mirrors and was gonna do a lantern with votive candles and rose petals around the mirror... but I'm not sure. I am waiting for more Spring stuff to come out in the craft stores. What colors are you doing? Do you have a theme? Congratulations :) I don't think it's too early. A lot of people recommend Flowers by Burton I think I am going to check them out. I still need to find a Florist and DJ.

Florists - Long Island Weddings
I'm going to use my dad's friends wife, she does it on the side and we'll probably do it for almost nothing! she did the sprays and all the flowers for my grandma wake in July and I. heard out my uncle is still asking how she wants for it. if that doesn't work out im going to reg florist. my friend opened a new shop in lindenhurst blooming floral designs. I caught up with her at the sayville bridal expo she had such amazing stuff. then if that doesn't work copiague country florist is the florist my family used before we started to use the the family friend. they were always 100s less then other florist shops!!
