florists again...

for anyone whos gotten quotes from florists.........

how many of u are getting tall CPs? and what price ranges have u been quoted for tall CPs?

i just have absolutely no idea what the norm is, and would like to have some clue when i go to my mtg next week, so i dont get taken advantage of

thats how i feel!!!!!!!!

cuz i really wanted all high CPs with calla lilies n hydrangeas n the branch stuff n i have so many BMs so thts alotta bok's, i dunno...

the place im goin to next week i have 25% off for them, and our MAX budget for flowers is $3000....so that means we can really be quoted $4000 max, cuz 25% off will be 3K....

im hoping whta i want would never come out to more than $4000 LOL

I am spending $3k for flowers, I did half high, half low, its based on 14 tables plus all my church flowers and bridal party flowers. If I did all high, I probably would have been at $3700

sandra, $2500 is what we'd love to pay also, 3 pushing it lol

3 for high and low (which i guess ill have to consider) is good, cuz we'll hve 14 tables too...and all high at 3700 minus 25% is 2775...so thats like perfecto lol

We are using the house florist at Fox Hollow. His name is Richard he goes under Perfect Wedding Planner Florals....he works out of their office in the Fox Hollow.

thats great! we need a few extra things...but at least i know i can probably stay under 5k....i keep telling FH that we are gonna end up spending 8k on flowers....he's not having that!

the $175 looks like its going to be mostly orchids and hydrangeas. the $150 we are not sure about yet.

our florist is Pedestals. I worked with Vito who was super nice.

oo orchids n hydrangeas, that is comparable in price to callas n hydrangeas...good to know!

the florist im meeting with next week has a sick reputation, and id really like to use them, so if their prices are similar to that of ur florist, ill be in good shape!

i had no idea flowers cost so much!!

FMIL is paying for limos, florist, DJ, photo/video, and anything extra stuff like invitations, favors, etc, and our budget from her was $15,000. We already used 9 of it on DJ and photo/video, and limos will be about 1500....so we really gotta keep flowers at 3.

its so nerve wracking all of this budget stuff!

im doing 15 high centerpieces as of right now. could be more depending on the guests. but verbena quoted me 139 per centerpiece. the other quote i got from flower michele i think was 175
