florists- any use or hear anything about these:?

My fi and I are starting to look at florists. We are getting married at the westbury mannor and are thinking of going with one of the 3 florists they recommended. Anyone use or hear anything about either of these florists? Party Sensations Pedestals Simply Elegant Thanks for any info. Kelly

Kelly, My friend used pedestals for her nov 2001 wedding. They did an awesome job. She had silk as she is severely allergic to flowers. She had a victorian theme and they hit it right on the head. They had her bring a pic of the dress and her headpiece so they could make sure to use they style that went best. She said that she got exactly what she paid for and it was worth every penny!!!! I thought they were great and I would recommend them.

I am using Pedestals. I had heard some negative comments but was really impressed with Danny at Pedestals. He use to work at Arcadia in Westchester and had rave reviews. Definitely meet with Danny if you go to Pedestals.

all those florists are good but you should really check out burtons. they did my sister's wedding and four of our friends and were great and incredibly reasonable. just do a search on them and you'll see what i mean.

I have been to simply elegant and pedestals and leaning toward pedestals. YOu can meet w/ anyone --we had an appt w/ Danny and waited over a half hr, he came over and apologized and said a diff appt ran over so we met w/ Natalie and she was very nice and knew her stuff as well. You do not have to meet w/ him, he seemed nice but so was she

Simply Elegant did my invitations and favors. They are not a manufacturer but a distributor/reseller (you order from them, and they purchase from the invitation company). They were great! if you would like any information just let me know.

I am meeting with Gail this Saturday for invitations. She said she works out of home, in Bayside and gives 25 % (i think) discount. So, is she a florist too?

hi Nina I have no idea, there is a Gail there, but the florist is in Glen Head. It may be the same Gail, I do not know for sure. You can check with her, I am going back to see a sample next thursday, but I do not know if I will be using them
