I have been dragging my feet when it comes to choosing a florist. But, I really want to get it over with. My concerns are as follows: #1-My dress is ivory. I like callas, but will 'white' ones clash w/ my dress?
#2-I am open to having the BM carry gerber daisies in assorted colors (summer wedding/outdoors), but I thought my BOK should compliment theirs in shape and/or color. But the last florist I met w/ said 'no!'-mine should be unique to itself.
#3-If the girls carry gerbers, can I carry roses? Would that clash? And if I carry roses, what color?
#4-How do I choose a florist and place a deposit if I have no idea what flowers to choose?

i booked flowers by burton-they needed $50 deposit. he went over how many boks, bouts corsages ill need along with pew bows (we have a house florist for cp)
i am carrying pink roses, moh will have roses, calla lillies, the bms will have roses and another lilly that i cant remember the name of.
for you to carry white calla lillies, i dont think that would clash at all. callas arent really a pure white they have a tone to them.....they are really beautiful. i say go for them!

oh and he also suggested adding a different flower to the bm bok like gerbers-i liked the way callas looked mixed in with roses. they were really helpful and answered questions before i could ask them!!

My sister did gerber daisies & white roses for her & all gerber for BP.
My friend Chrissie did White Calla's for BP and red for her....
My Bok is having hyd, callas, roses and gerbers. My BM bo-k are having gerber and roses. I think its fine if you have each flower in both.
I am using Verbena designs. Jenn is extremely helpful and will work with your budget. I totally expected to pay a lot more for what I am getting. She has such great ideas and she only does one wedding a day. FM me for details if you'd like.

Heather, as far as the colors of the calla lillies, b/c your dress color is ivory, as mine is too, they have cream colored calla's. That is what I will be using in my boquet along with cream roses.
I love gerbera daisies. I think that will look beautiful for your bridesmaids.
