i'm not quite sure it's ever a true negotiation. i think if you go lower than an original quote, they take out some of the flowers and add more greens and fillers.

I like the idea that B u r t o n s charge u $100 for any flowers u want. I've heard u can get flowers from $80 to $170 in other places. I think after I book the venue I'll make an appointment to see them, thank u girls

I think you can negotiate but you maye have to be not picky as far as the type of flowers. My tall CP's (in my CP album) are 160 which include the cylinder with floating candles.

I think it's outrageous too but I think it also depends on how you are doing the centerpieces... I noticed you did 1 vase of submerged on each table... some people might be getting quotes for a cluster of submerged vases on the tables so that's probably why it's coming out to more.

Mine are $200 for high centerpieces. It depends on the type of flowers you want and how full you want them to be. One place might charge you $100 and another place $200, but fullness and types of flowers make a huge difference.

Re: Florists prices for center pieces
How can Burton's charge a flat 100 for tall centerpieces no matter what flowers you want? That doesn't make sense to me. Does that mean that I'll pay the same price (100) for a tall centerpiece with 4 dozen roses and a tall centerpiece with 2 dozen roses but more green fillers and baby breath?

Re: Florists prices for center pieces
I am getting married 2 days before valentine's day and they are charging me $75 (i think or maybe $65) for any type of rose that I want. Other places were more money because of the holiday. There will be no fillers in my centerpieces either. Just a tight big bushel of roses
