Flower Appointments

Hey girls! I made two appointments for next Saturday! Pedestals and Flowers by Brian.

Anyone have any feedback on them, price, customer service, anything? Feel free to fm me!

I have to say they are both great vendors, a little pricy.

If your looking for beautiful flowers at a more reasonable price I would recommend contacting Michelle at Hidden Essence in Deer Park. She is sweet and works with budgets.

Thanks so much for the recommendation! I am gong to look at those two cause I heard they are great, if they are pricey like ive been told and they wont budge..then ill call her and I also planned on looking into B*rtons!

I went to both of them and liked them both but I LOVED Virgil at Pedestals and I knew that I wanted to go with him.

The only problem was the quote I got from Flowers by Brian was a lot lower than Pedestals. I called Virgil back and told him the situation... that I was 1000% sure that I wanted him to do my flowers but I could not justify spending so much more on flowers. I told him that if he matched Flower by Brian's quote that I would book right then! He went and spoke with a manager and they matched it!

I would definitely recommend meeting with Virgil at Pedestals. He is amazing. I am so bad when it comes to flowers and I would never be able to say what I wanted. Basically we had a conversation about my wedding and the feel that I wanted. He then showed me pictures of things that he thought that I would like.

OMG.... he got me and what I was looking for!

One thing about Flowers by Brian. I did like them but I was a little concerned. I was in a wedding for my best friend and the day of her wedding her bouquets for the bridesmaids came to her house and some of them were dead! We called the florist and they apoligized and had replacement bouquets at the rehersal hall.

So they did fix the mistake but I was shocked a florist would let the flowers leave the store the way they looked. So I guess it is a good thing that they fixed it and did not give her a problem but I would be worried that the same thing would happen to me.

I would not rule them out because of this. I mean things do happen and it is all about the customer service and follow through. Here they were great once told there was an issue. I just wish for her that the issue did not happen.

I have NO idea what I want, so im hoping that they will be able to 'read my mind' so to say..I have an idea of what the bridesmaide dresses will be..but thats it!

The way I look at it you are looking for a person that can help create your vision. That is the talent that you are paying for.

I feel like anyone can create a centerpiece if the bride comes and says I want these three flowers! That is the easy part but being able to create a vision for someone is the talent! I knew that was what I was looking for!

I second Pedestals!

We looked at Flowers by Brian, B*urtons, Bella Flowers, and Wicks.

Pedestals wasn't the cheapest but they really got our vision and we just clicked! When you walk in you see their samples everywhere and they are gorgeous!!! FBB was VERY nice too and would have been our second choice, we just clicked w/ Pedestals and have 100% confidence in what we will get on the day of!

THIS!!! is exactly where we are going to look. We also heard Fl0wer Barn is good.

We booked Flowers by Brian. RIch really knew what I wanted and the price was a little lower than my budget and I got everything I wanted.. plus some more things that I didn't think I wanted to pay for but it was more reasonable than I thought.

FBB have you come in the day before the wedding to see the flowers to make sure you like them and they are what you thought and I really like that so you won't be surprised the next day!!
