I'm meeting with florists next week and am clueless about the going rate. One person told me that a BM bouquet is $85....and that sounded high, but, I'm pretty ignorant about this stuff. So, my question is, what is a reasonable floral package price? I realize that there are many variables, such as size of bridal party, type of CPs....but that's why there's a range. Thanks so much for arming me with info for this week's appointments....

Re: Flower Budget
I didn't get too many flowers. MY RH gives us rose centerpieces which is fine with me. For me, 5 BM's, bouts, 2 Moms and a 'spray' for the gazebo I am paying $750.

Re: Flower Budget
My bo-k was like $150 and each bm was like $80.
Total for my wedding with about 20 cp's is around $3,000

Re: Flower Budget
ours is over 3k for 15 CP, escort arrangement, 5 BM bqs, groomsmen, corsages/bouteniers for mothers, fathers, 2 hairpieces for 2 JBM, my bouquet, 2 large candelabras decorated with flowers (and one hanging), and the cake.
weren't planning on spending that much, but when i met with the florist, we just went off and feeded off of eachother! The centerpieces wound up being pretty elaborate

Re: Flower Budget
I resent paying so much money for flowers. My wedding is in feb. and it is the only vendor i haven't booked yet!

I budgeted 6k. I budget everything high so I won't go over and make FH mad. As long as I am under budget, he is happy

i am using tim's. i have no BMs though and am not upgrading the centerpieces... the bouquets make it pricier. the quote was for 2 corsages and i'm probably getting 4-5 now. so it'll go up a little.

Re: Flower Budget
I am having 20 tall centerpieces....
10 church freestanding baskets
2 flower wreaths for church
10 bridesmaid bouquets
then another 4 smaller bouquets for junior bridesmaids
then another 8 coursages
12 boutonnaires
and a lot of other stuff like wedding favor table will have something and the dais and cake table....
Also it depends on the flowers....
I am having only peonies lilac hydrangea and roses for my centerpieces....
my bok and the girls boks will only be peonies...
the church will be roses and lilac...
the price was a little over $7k
and this was the least expensive... Some wanted 11k .....
it really depends on the number of tables... number of people in your bridal party and the type of flowers....
this was actually the second to last place... I think that i went to 6 places...
My recommendation is definately shop around....
Also this may seem a little tacky but always negotiate.... the place we booked asked for 8K and we said could you do it for .... and they said ok.....
