ok soo.. im going to meet with florists next week and I dont really know what to say.. are they going to ask my budget? should i say a lot lower than i want to spend and then see what they can do for that price and work from there? I really dont want to spend more than $3000.. is that reasonable? but i have heard a lot cheaper flowers are possible.. should i say like $1800 and see if they can work with me? Can you get everything for $1800? please help Thank you

It depends on your guest list, the size of your BP and other factors.
I think you CAN do something for $1800, but it might not be easy.
For example I am paying $175 per high centerpiece (it could be lower, I added some things), and $225 for my bo0k, and $85 for BMs. That may not sound like a lot, bt adds up with multiple BMs and many tables.
I didn't give them a budget but told them I wanted to use only seasonal flowers to make it cheaper.
If I were you I would give a realistic budget.

Im paying $1600 including all taxes ect. It can be done I gave a budget of a max of $2500. A good florist should be able to work with a budget but keep in mind the more people the wedding the more flowers you need and if you want a high centerpiece it can run about $60 + then a lower cp.

ours ended up being 2900... all said n done out the door. but the only reason so high i because i have like 18 tables! the cp were only 125 each but alot of tables means more money!. so yes its possible but depends on ur guest list, number of peeps in bp etc.

They hep you estimate the tables to give you a quote, and then the price changes based on the actual # of tables

Most florists will work with a budget in hand...Our florist was great going thru our options and what I was ordering... Flowers vary in cost so you will find BOK of every prince range..I didn't go high end but was able to pick out beautiful things..I am doing low centerpieces, and that saved a bundle. Go with what you can afford and see what they can put together for you.

right now our florist total is $2600 and that includes low CPs for 16 tables (which in reality it might be more like 14 so the price will go down from that), bridal bouquet, 5 BM bouquets, corsages for the moms, bouts for the dads, NO bouts for the GMs, and arrangements on either side of the bar and flowers for the cake table.
The kind of CPs you are looking for can really change the cost around. High CPs usually cost more than low. Anything with branches surprisingly makes CPs more expensive (it's crazy what they charge for twigs - but they do look nice) and Submerged CPs may seem like the don't cost much (and probably don't if you DIY them) but can cost an arm and a leg through the florist.
Also, which flowers you choose can make a big difference in price. Roses usually are inexpensive as opposed to exotic flowers.
I originally emailed florists with pictures of exactly what I wanted and they emailed me a quote back. Maybe try and do that first to see if what you want is reasonable with your budget.

$3k was our max budget. I got quotes via e-mail from a few florists before going in to meet with them, so I knew they would come in under that price. When I got there, Designs by Rose had a sample CP set up for me.
