check out the pics of preston bailey's website or go to barnes and noble and check out his books...he does all sorts of crazy ish with flowers. someone i know went to a wedding he did at the waldorf recently, and apparently he had crystal vases with orchids within the glass of the vase. (does that make sense?)

Oooh I LOVE Preston! He must be expensive, huh?
Here's the pic I think I'm bringing to my florist!
OH, and SORRY... I don't have any pics of the ceiling CP's... but if I come across one, I'll let you know!

those flowers are really pretty!
preston bailey def does amazing work, but i sort of feel like what party planner wouldn't do amazing work with the ridiculous budgets he works with? from what i heard he starts at $1 million (yeah that's $1 million, not a typo) and i have no idea whether that includes any of the materials or vendors or anything. the word was this wedding at the waldorf that i heard about was about $2.25m...apparently had the waiters and waitresses in the waldorf taking turns working parties so they could all see it...they had a long entranceway lined with violinists on each side. the guy who went said you'd never know you were in the waldorf (and i said then why not book someplace cheaper...). his stuff definitely provides for some good inspiration though!!
