I am using floyd harbour florists. Norine is the best!!!! Her prices are really reasonable, I wouls def give them a call and ask to speak with her and explain yur situation. With only 2 weeks to go I'm not sure how fussy you can be, but whatever she does for you she will make it amazing!

Do you think she can accommodate me on such short notice?? I need 8 floral wreaths made for my castle centerpieces, alter arrangements, pew flowers, flower girl petals, and 3 Bm's bouquets ohh and the flowers to put in my place card tree.

I think you should call her right away!! Tell her she was highly recommended, and see if there's any way she can accommodate you or suggest someone who could. Call now!!!

If you want a second option-
Designs by Rose. email them and they respond almost immediately. Send a copy of this post with what you need. I just visited them last week and they told me that June was quiet this year but the rest of the summer was packed....so you may have lucked out.

They are SUPER BUDGET FRIENDLY. Good luck. Email now, something can be done.

email immediately then go wash your face, have some water and make calls.

It's going to work out....you are 2 weeks out but both Verbena and Designs by Rose are class acts and are amazing. They can make something happen. Get it together love! You can do this

Def. call verbana and burtons but if they are booked (which they probably will be) try all the local florists... they dont do as many weddings and would probably be able to accomodate you. Where are you getting married?

I was going to suggest this as well. You will probably get a better deal at the supermarket or a local florist anyway.

You will figure this out! Florists luckily can book more than one event per day, so you will find something!

For a low price, check out your local florists. I am using ours and it is much cheaper than a 'wedding vendor'. Even places like stop and shop do flowers for cheap, and YES they are used to doing weddings!

Sorry this happened and I would be crying too, but I would try to calm down then just start calling a bunch of florists. Explain your situation and they may be able to help you. I don't know any florists because I am not getting married on Long Island, but my friend recommended Burtons I know a lot of people on this board use them.

Are you looking for Nassau, Suffolk, or Queens?

I am using Burton's, but they only take on 3 jobs/day I was told, so they may or may not be booked solid already.

I have two locals in the St. James vicinity that I was also looking at, and had marginally higher prices than Burton's, but were still crazy cheap by wedding flower standards. St. James florist and Hitherbrook Nursery. If you're willing to go that far east, I'd definitely recommend them.
