Flower for dress?

My dress is very simple and I want to add a big flower (in same material with maybe some crystals) to the side of the dress. Does anyone know someone in NYC (or LI) who makes flowers out of material?

Check with the store you bought the dress from. They definately have extra material, sometimes they can take it from your dress depending on the style and it will match and not cost too much. My mom had changed the broche on her dress to a flower as well as adding a halter and a bolero.
