I don't think so, I assume since she can't throw petals, but that is all it said for insurance purposes

Re: Flower Girl
I have the same problem with my church. I am going to have the florist make her a flower basket. She won't be throwing anything but will still have flowers.
PS: Aisle runner not allowed either

I feel better that i am not the only one. I am allowed to have an aisle runner but only because I am not having a mass but they said like the limo driver or someone must take it right after

Re: Flower Girl
just have her carry a kissing ball. Its a ball of flowers, or kinda like a flower type purse bc she can carry it like a purse. Mine had peonies all around
here is a pic of our flower girl, let me see if i can find a better pic with the kissing ball

Re: Flower Girl
I am going to ask about throwing biodegradible wedding rice. If they say no, they we'll likely do bubbles.
We can't have an aisle runner but the church is carpet so it's not that big of a deal.
And technically my flowegirl can throw petals as long as someone cleans it up. But I don't plan on having a DOC so I guess a flower basket will do.
All these 'rules' stink. It's supposed to be tradition, ya know?

I agree but you should see if someone attending the church would clean it up, it wouldn't take long.

no the florist made it. For some reason i cant find a closer pic of mine. I know its somewhere but its hard to find through 800 proofs and then all my non-pro pics hahahaha
here is one i found online...it can be done different ways, i didnt have a white ribbon on top like this one.
We did peonies for the kissing ball since my bok was peonies. So you can do the kissing ball in the same flowers as your bok

Re: Flower Girl
I love the idea of a kissing ball. Flower girls are cute enough, I am totally fine with them not being able to throw anything. I need them to concentrate on just getting down the aisle!

I agree if they are really young but my sister will be 8 when I get married and she is really upset that she cannot throw the petals

Re: Flower Girl
My flower girl will only be four at my wedding, so this might be a little immature for your fg, but i originally wanted her to be more of an angel. I saw it in a magazine and fell in love. I wanted her to wear a halo made out of flowers and her wings to be bordered in flowers. A wand or a flower ball would be just enough, she wouldn't need to throw flowers.

Re: Flower Girl
I had the same restrictions.. I had my 3 flowergirls hold baskets of flowers. I liked the kissing ball idea but was afraid the'd be tempted to swing them around like balls..

Re: Flower Girl
kissing balls are so expenisve, I wanted them all over the place but after counting how many flowers have to go into that ...
I think you can get the same effect by using a little basket and just decorating it with big flowers on top.
