also--seems like theres different opinions online about who 'should' pay for the dress... some say bride/groom and others say mom of flowergirl... what is everyone else doing??

Re: Flower Girl
The parents are paying for the dresses. Not sure how far you are from the city, but I am planning to get them from the Fashion District in Manhattan, they have some great dresses at amazing prices.

Re: Flower Girl
We got ours at Tri-County.
Generally, the parents of the FG pay for her dress. My mom is actually paying for my FG's dress, because my FG's mother is also a BM and my mom feels bad.

Re: Flower Girl
We plan on paying for the FG's dress but that's just because we want to. I think traditionally though it's the FG's parents.

Re: Flower Girl
My flower girl is FH's godchild so he wants to pay for it. There are really no rules about this you can do it your way.

Re: Flower Girl
I bought our FG her dress (she's DH's niece) -- it was $30 at Macy's on sale the day after Easter. I imagine you could get a really gorgeous dress that will work just after Christmas this year if you can hit some sales.

Re: Flower Girl
I have two junior brides maids and their mom and dads are paying. I know I was in two weddings when I was little and it was my parents responsibility to pay.
