How did you ask your flower girls to be a part of your wedding?

Same here.. We then all asked her together... At first she had no clue what it was (she is my sister, and is now 6) but once I explained she got to wear a pretty dress and carry a basket of flowers she got very excited.

yeah we asked the parents first lol, we then said something to her with her parents there, more like they explained it to her. She was 2 when we asked

i asked their parents first...then them... i gave them a little gift bag with pearl earrings and necklace to wear DO

I think she told me that she was the flower girl! LOL. It's FH's daughter...so she knew she would be regardless.

Our four year old took the 3 other flower girls to Fun Zone for a 'GIRLS DAY' out and then to 'THEIR' favorite restaurant which is Red Lobster (not too expensive for 4 4-6 year olds) and then she told them all that she would like for them to help her in the wedding as 'FLOWER PRINCESSES' and told them what they would do.. and then gave them each a basket that we made for them..

By the way... I had ALREADY spoken with the moms and everything was good and planned as far as we were concerned.. My daughter just thought it was all HER idea.. We made it work

I asked the parents first. Then when I was with the girls, I asked them if they wanted to be my flower girls and wear pretty dresses and they got all excited.

we asked the parents first, but i bought a book about being a flower girl and wrote a little note in it......the 5 year old understood, my niece is only 19 months so shes clueless.....but we keep telling her shes the flower girl.....and when you ask 'Jaclyn whos the flower girl?' you get a big grin and a 'ME!!!!!' so frickin cute!
