I picked the ring bearer - my 6 yr old nephew. I'm letting my FI pick the flower girls (2). He has many young nieces; finding it hard to decide who to ask. My god-daugther who is 4 can't be in the wedding because of this Which nieces should we ask? At the time of the wedding, there will be 2 sets of 3 yr olds and 2 sets of 5/6 yr olds. My best friend is already a little peeved that my god-daughter won't be in it.

How bout: one older and one younger girl...best of both ages...young girls are so darling and the older get such a kick out of it!

Why can't you have another flower girl? We're putting my god-daughter (who won't even be 1 when we get married) in our wedding party b/c it's such an important day and everyone who she knows and who would normally watch her will be there so... I know people are going to have a problem with it but it's what we decided to do. I think 3 flower girls would be cute. 2 can walk down together and put 1 (the oldest) walking down in front of or behind them. You don't want to have any regrets...

As horrible as this may sound, I would base it on maturity. Are there any little girls who you think could handle the task? My ring bearer is really composed for a little boy, so I don't worry about him, but my brother's flower girls were really nervous and needed some encouragement (good thing their mom was the MOH)
No matter how cute, go with the ones who can do the job without crying or causing a scene

ok are you ready for this one !! i have... 2 flowergirls (both neices) one is 5 the other is 6 1 jr flower girl if you can call it that! she is just 8 years old and her dress is the same as the flowergirs but older looking.(also a neice) 1 jr bridesmaid (yet another neice) 11 years old. she is wearing the same color as the bridesmaids then my daughter who will be in her'wedding dress' then for the guys its 2 jr ring bears one 10 one 11 (both nephews) and 1 jr usher , fl little brother who is 14 but at the wedding he will be 15. yeah i know it's alot but i did not want to hurt any of there feelings!
