Are the bride and groom traditionally supposed to pay for the flower girl's dress? And also, the ring bearer's suit? Or do their parents pay?
What did everyone else do?

I wasn't planning on paying for them. It's the same rule as the bridesmaids, if they want to be in the wedding they pay for the dress. Is that mean? It's just that the wedding is a huge expense as it is....

I have 2 flower girls, one of them being my goddaughter so I bought her dress. They are 2 of my cousin's 4 daughters. And the whole family is in our bridal party so I wanted to alleviate some of the cost.

Of all the weddings that i have seen the parents usually pay for the flowergirl dresses just like the bridesmaids pay for their own

That's a good question, I have never thought of this. As far as I know, the parents will be paying for the flowergirl and ring bearers outfits for the day.
If I could, I would pay but I just can't afford it.

That is actually an excellent question. I thought that the bride and groom pay..but it makes sense for the parents to pay because its like being a BM's or a GM they pay for their own stuff...so why should we have to pay for them. In any case, I am not sure what I will be doing....currently I was thinking of paying for it
