flower girl dress

flower girl dress

i am having two flower girls. at the time of the wedding one will be 6 & the other will be 3. at the present time the older one is tall (42 inches) & skinny. the younger one is short & still has a little baby fat. i started to look at dresses for them. i was going to put them in the same dress but think the older one should have a straight dress & the younger one a puffy dress but something that matches or compliments the other.

what would you do in this situation??

i dont think they need to be in the same dress at all.. there is a huge difference in body shape in a 3 year old and a 6 year old... i dont see a problem with it!

btw.. ive heard burlington coat factory has cute flowergirl dresses!

thanks for letting me know. my mom picked out a flower girl dress & it was $250 without alterations.
my brother almost fell on the floor since they are his two daughters that have to wear them. we are going to look at a garment factory in the city but if we don't find anything there i will deffinettly go to burlington.

i never thought of the 2 different dresses. but i kinda like the idea.

anyway, when do you buy FG dresses?? little girls grow sooo fast! and do they really need a lot of alteratioons? i was thinking like 4 months before? is that bad? TIA!
