Anyone know where I can find a really cute reasonable dress for my flower girl? I am going to check out david's bridal but does anyone have any other ideas? Oh and what should I get for her to wear in her hair...any good ideas? Thanks, Dani

Re: flower girl dress
Dani-Being that it is so close to Easter I say check out all the regular stores. I got my FG dress at JcPenney's.
As for her hair. My FG has bangs & shoulder length hair so I was thinking a ponytail with curls or a bun. I was thinking some babies breath. She's not a girly girl. SO I don't want to get to cutsie!

Re: flower girl dress
Lord & Taylor has some really sweet flower girl type dresses and they are having a sale!!
I went all over the place and found a nice dress at Macy's....but I didnt buy it there, I am ordering her dress as well as the bm's dresses through Netbride.com...we are saving almost $100 for the FG dress through them and $60 plus with the BM's dresses....They are great to work with there....Thanks for the rec, girl!

Re: flower girl dress
My girls had the prettiest dresses from this small place in Massapequa. This store has everything for small little girls. From baptism, communion, FG dress, cute party outfits for girls. Everything you can think of and the prices are reasonable prices. I looked everywhere until I found this place. I was also recommended by another bride to go here. The dress I picked out was $80.

Re: flower girl dress
I just got my girls dresses!! The BEST place ever!!!
if you want the info FM me.. they are in NYC but you can get them on their site as well!
www.glamgal.com is where I got mine. I loved it and Ann, the owner, was very nice to work with. Editted to add photo plus discuss hair thing. SonicStef gave me the greatest idea for my FG's hair. My FG was only 3 with fine hair. A lot of those 'kid's headpieces' were too big, too ugly and too heavy for her anyway. I went to Claires and got her a rhinestone BRACLET. The hair dresser unclasped it and put pins in both ends to attach under her little bun. OMG it was perfect. You can see it here

Re: flower girl dress
I didn't want my aunt to have to spend 125 for a tiny dress, my FG will be 23 months old. And we found a Jr BM dress at JCPenney that is similar to my BM dresses for 50, on sale at JCP. I also bought a FG dress in size 5 for 15 at JCP, (on clearance) but it was too big, she will need like a 2T or 3T.

Michelle - I might steal that idea! That is great! I looked at headpieces for my FG and was going to skip on them altogether b/c they were so big. Thanks! Where did you buy the bracelet?
