Anyone have any ideas where to get a flower girl dress for a 10 year old? Shes' a little old for the part and it's not like she'll wear it again so I don't want to spend a fortune. I was thinking maybe a communion dress but the wedding's not till august and the way she grows she'll be too big by then. Anyone else have this problem?

Try RK Bridal for junior bridesmaid dresses, or have someone make a dress for her.

Re: flower girl dress?
I bought my flower girls dress from TriCounty on Hempstead Tpke in East Meadow. We didn't want to spend a fortune on a dress that probably wouldn't even make it through the day (she's a rambunctious five year old).
There are a couple of booths with little girl dressy dresses...I found lots to choose from.
Wish I had a picture online...it was a very simple sleeveless ivory dress with ivory flowers on the waistline.

One of my flower girls is also 10. I found a A-line Jessica McClintock dress at Lord & Taylor. There are some small white roses on the back. My niece loved it because it didn't look little girlish. Now I have to find 'grown up' shoes to go with it. She refuses wear any shoes that resemble Mary Janes!

Re: flower girl dress?
I got mine a few weeks ago in Macy's for $36! It was an easter dress on sale on sale on sale...they had lots of selection for 7-10 yr olds that weren't too babyish. They might still have some left?

I got my Jr Bridesmaid dress at JCPenneys, and we bought 2 sizes so she will fit into one of them. At Penny's they said you can return for a full refund with the receipt, even 6 months later.

Tri-County, E-Bay (butterflysc.com) and Penny's have them all under $70.
