Flower girl dresses
OK Ladies - I need you opinion here -I have looked and looked for red flower girl dresses (I am getting married in December). I have this vision in my mind of a deep red velvet bodice with an irredescent red tafetta skirt with a sash at the waist. Of course, I can not find anything remotely similiar anywhere.
I met with a seamstress who can make the dresses ($120 for the little girls age 3 & 4 and $150 for the older girls, age 8 & 9).
But I can not seem to make a decision on this without seeing the dress first. I have never had a seamstress make a dress for me. What do you guys think - do you think the above dress will look OK.
Thanks for the help!

Re: Flower girl dresses
I think it sounds pretty, perfect for a december wedding. Can the seamstress show you the pattern with fabric swatches? Maybe that would help ease your mind.

Re: Flower girl dresses
I saw some dark red dresses that were something like that where I got my FG dresses- Ragmuffins in Smithtown.

Re: Flower girl dresses
I ordered the dress on the left for my January wedding. It's not taffeta, but it's red and IMO very 'wintery' and it was only $100.
