Flower Girl Dresses - what color

I am going to have four flower girls...just curious as to what everyone opinions are on the colors of the dress. Mine will be white tulle, bridesmaids will be pink...I first picked out similiar FG white tulle dresses, but figured they would be lost up against me in pictures. I think I would rather buy them (I am paying for the dresses) dresses they could possibly wear again. I know kids grow quick and the chances of that are small...but I found some really pretty pink and purple tulle and/or sheer dresses on ebay and www.jessicamcclintock.com. I know the decision is ultimately mine... I guess my question is - WHAT COLOR do I have? Do I do white? or pink or purple or champange? What did you do? THANKS!!!!

Flower Girl Dresses - what color

I am having the same problem. I know most of the Flower girl dresses out there are white - but white girls dresses to me always signify First Communion. I am thinking of having my flower girl dresses (4) coordinate with my bridesmaid dresses. But I am having a difficult time since most flower girl dresses only come in white and ivory. Let me know if you find a solution!

Flower Girl Dresses - what color

Dont look for FLOWER GIRL dresses. Try ebay, they have vendors on there that have BEAUTIFUL BEAUTIFUL colored dresses...also jessicamcclintock has 'colored' flower girl dresses. I am even thinking 'spring dresses' which come out around easter. If you can wait until after easter to buy them you could probably get a better deal. We are getting married May 2003 and plan on waiting for the after spring sales...you really cant buy them too in advance cause these kids grow so fast!! Peronsally I am starting to like the colored dresses better... BEST OF LUCK TO YOU!!

A recent post of mine had the link to what flower girl dress I'm getting. It's from Jessica McClintock. It's a flowered dress in lavendar. Very pretty. Well, at least I think so.

Flower Girl Dresses - what color

My flower girl is wearing white - She's only 4 yrs old. I would have put her in the same color dresses as the bridesmaids if she were older. It's completely up to you.

Flower Girl Dresses - Blue

I had orignially wanted my BMin a sky blue/silver type color but the dress we found (at the time) only came in navy-- so we got them--and ended up getting a beautiful blue for the flowergirls(4 of them) and then had one flower girls(the 5th) in white to match me-- it looked great in pics--so I am def now a fan of matching or complementing --plus then you have tons more dresses to choose from when you pick a color-- good luck Laura you can check out pics if you want www.laurajeremy.homestead.com/home.html

Flower Girl Dresses - White with matching sash in Orchid..

Our flower girls dresses are basic white with tulle skirt but we took left over fabric from the bridesmaid dresses (from the hem) and made sashes to match perfectly. It had to match for me. I think we got them in Carolin's in Massapequa off the rack.
