my mom came up with an idea to make a flower girl gift basket. what i am going to do is make a basket of stuff to have at the RH for the girls to have during the reception. prior to the day of i am going to take pictures of it on my phone & before they walk down the aisle bribe them with it. (i know i am such a wonderful aunt)
the question is what should i put in it???
all i can think of: coloring book crayons

def crayons and coloring books.. maybe princess necklace and rings so they can play dress upp
what about cameras.. disposable.. with a scavenger hunt.. have them take pix of diff stuff.. it'll keep them busyy!

I love this hanky idea. Where did you get it? do you have a pic?
I also like the disposible camera scavenger hunt idea.
I saw once they gave the girl a crown and scepter (?) and the little girl loved it!!

my FGs will be 6 & 3. as far as a thank you gifts i am getting them US Savings Bonds, a bracelet to wear day of & will be making them each a jewelery box. (the hanky idea is very cute, however i already did something like that for their baptisms. the hat they wore to their baptism turns into a hanky for their something old at their wedding.)
i figured the basket could be a little something extra at the RH the night of to keep them occupied when they don't want to dance anymore. however, knowing them they will be dancing until about 10PM & then find a corner to fall asleep in. they are so cute when they sleep.
