How old id too old for a flower girl? One of my old students is 7 now and will be 9 or 10 when we do the wedding...... I have known her since she was a baby and want her in my wedding. I saw her the other day and asked when I am getting married so she can be my flower girl, I melted. My mom says she'll be too old but, I dont think so or really care. What do you guys think?

if you dont think that is a good age then you can have her as like a jr bridesmaid.
but i dont think that 9 10 is old my sister had my cousin who was 11 as her ring bearer....

i was wondering the same thing because my sister will be 8 when my wedding comes around... i think im just going to have her as the flower girl because i feel she is too young for a junior bridesmaid but i really want her in the wedding since she is my only sister!

My Flower girl is going to be 8..i Don't think its too old as long as she wears and age appropriate dress and doesn't look like a baby..know what i mean?? For instance, my flower girl will hold a bouquet like my bridesmaids and she most likely wont wear ivory like me but the color of the bridesmaids. Hope i make sense.!

FH's niece is 9 now and probably 11 by the time we get married and i'm going to make her a junior bridesmaid. When I think flower girls i think cute little 4 or 5 year olds. His neice already asked me if she could be a JB in our wedding, she didnt even want to be flower girl! she knows what she wants!

Yes I am not having any other flower girls but, she has a sister that used to be my student also, older, and she is very shy and has some problems. SO she wouldnt do good in the party, so I have to stick with her being a flower girl so I won't offened the other sister.
