flower girl question and a small rant!!

What are your flower girls wearing in their hair and where did you purchase it.

I love Etsy but why can't it be a store I can go in to, I hate having to order things online and not see it in real life. I also need a unity candle, card box and cake topper and it's killing me to order with out seeing it in person, what if I hate it!!

flower girl question and a small rant!! - Long Island Weddings

I am having the same problem with my FG's head pieces!! I just want a simple blingy head band to keep their hair out of their face.. I dont think its too much to ask. I will keep you posted if I find something..

For cardbox I ordered an in expensive birdcage off Amazon and plan to add ribbon in my colors. It is really nice but I didnt want to spend alot in case I hated it. Luckily it is pretty and will do its job.

For Cake topper I am also going through Amazon..I saw a traditional cake topper of a couple high fiving eachother and I am ordering it.

I would kind of like the same thing for my flower girl she is only 2 1/2 so I thought a small blingy headband would be perfect for her. Let me know if you find something, I see a lot I like on Etsy I guess I have to suck it up and just order this stuff. At least you can return to amazon if you don't like it

I used NDetailDesign for my cake topper and waxingeloquent for my unity candle.

Some etsy shops will let you return, make sure you check before ordering. Or you can always message the seller and have them send you a better pic or ask them what to do if you don't like it. Every seller I've ever dealt with on etsy has been amazing.
My daughter was a flower girl when she was 4 and I did pay to have her hair done (my bridezilla friend insisted). We used a piece of fabric from my dress (I was a bridesmaid) as a makeshift headband, it was really just bobby pinned into her hair. If you're looking for a blingy headband, maybe check out tri-county? Hth.

Hey fellow October bride! I see you ordered your unity candle already! I wanted to do that but wasn't sure if it would start yellowing if I ordered early. Are you keeping it stored in a box until the wedding?

Hi! I hope it won't, I don't think it will... I have it in the tissue paper that it came in, and in the original box. I think it should be fine as long as I store it in a temperature controlled room. I just wanted to get these small checks out of the way so I don't have to think about them anymore!! I bought the stands from Michael's.

I agree. I was ready to buy the unity candle months ago but told myself to slow down. Seeing that picture reminded me that it's on the to-get list! I was thinking that too, keep it somewhere cool and wrapped.
