Hey Ladies - I have 2 young flower girls (1 1/2 and 2 years old). What should I get them? Also, as far as walking down the aisle, should I try to have them hold a flower? I'm not doing baskets with flowers. Thanks!

Re: Flower Girl Questions
FH's niece is 4 and we got her a flowergirl doll from Precious Moments that has her name embroidered on the doll's dress. We thought it was a great way for her to remember the day. We are practicing with her with a flower basket. I would try to have your FG walk down the aisle with flowers.

Re: Flower Girl Questions
You could have the florist make a kissing ball of flowers to carry, those are really cute and they would just hold the string that comes out of the ball.

Re: Flower Girl Questions
Mine will be 2 1/2 by the time of my wedding. My nephew calls her the 'rose girl' !! I don't know how she'll be bc I know she's kind of young, but she seems to run away from me, so it might not be so hard to get her to walk down the aisle away from me, towards her mother, and with her older brother (he'll be almost 5). Also she LOVES FH... To get her to stop crying, I show her a pic of him on my phone. She always stops screaming, smiles and kisses the phone.
Kissing ball is a CUTE idea!!! Love it.....

My flower girl is older...she will be 7. She's going to hold a rustic basket with flowers. I like the kissing ball idea for younger girls.
I would get her something for her to remember the day when she is older. Maybe a piece of jewelry or the precious moments idea someone else mentioned

Re: Flower Girl Questions
My niece will be 3 by the wedding. I got her a flowergirl picture frame and a flowergirl hankie meant to be used for her the day she gets married. I will most likley get her a flowergirl tshirt also. I am thinking I am going to have her with a kissing ball and she will walk down the aisle with my sister. We have a long aisle....120 feet. Thats too long for anyone that age to walk down alone. lol

I dont' have any FG's however I would say a bond is always a nice gift for little kids. They always have a trillion toys and a savings bond is something they can appreicate when they are older. Remembering it from your wedding when they are young adults will be special too

My goddaughter will be a 1 1/2 at my wedding. I am going to have her walk down with her older brother (4 years old). I have a flower girl basket but that's not likely to happen.
As for gifts I am going to buy her dress and a bracelet for her.

I like the flower girl t-shirt ideat! Are you getting the t-shirt made or did you find it somewhere? I also like the handkerchief idea and love the kissing ball idea. I'm kind of picturing it...does anyone have an actual picture they can post so I can see what Kissing Balls are?
