Did anyone purchase their flower girl dress from David's Bridal? How far in advance did you need to order it? There's one I like, but I don't really want to order it until March/April since my wedding is in May. I'm afraid of growth spurts!!
Also, did you buy ring bearer tuxedos or did you rent them with the rest of the wedding party?
Thanks!

Re: Flower Girl/Ring Bearer
for the RBs I found this website, Top2BottomKids.com that sells little boys tuxes and suits and the prices are pretty decent. This is what I plan to buy for our RBs (no jacket).
For the FG - the one I would like for her is from the Sweet Beginnings collection by Jordan so I will be ordering it from the same place I order the BM dresses from (Alexandra's Boutqiue in Forest Hills).
Just remember to not order them anything until a little close to the date. These kids grow so quickly that if you get something now there is a possibility they want fit it later on.

We didn't order our FG dresses, BUT we also got married in May and I wanted to throw you some advice. Go to Century 21 or Burlington Coat Factory in April and buy Communion dresses/suits! They are SO cheap and so adorable! Our FG dresses were $30 each!

my FG got her dress from David's Bridal ... her parents ordered it for her about 2-3 months before the wedding.

Most places do not rent tuxedos very small. I am not sure how hold yours are, my RB was 2 1/2 and we went to Men's Warehouse in the mall and they had the whole thing to purchase for $70 (I think).

Re: Flower Girl/Ring Bearer
My mom actually picked out the one below from David's Bridal but I like the idea of the communion dresses!!!That is brilliant!
I agree with just buying a mini tux for a RB who is young. Ours was 3 1/2 at our wedding and I got his tux from Cookie's Department Store (they're all over the place, but I went to the one in Brooklyn on Flatbush Ave near downtown Brooklyn because I worked near there). It was $35.
I bought my FG dress at Macy's the day after Easter and it was perfect because it matched our wedding colors exactly! Oddly, my SIL gave it back to me among the dresses for me to use for my LO who is due in less than two months lol. I think it'll be so sweet to someday dress my daughter in the same dress my niece wore in our wedding.

My nephew is 5 now and he's the sweetest thing. He has such a crush on me! Last year after our wedding, my SIL asked him what they went to New York for and he said 'a wedding' so she asked him who got married and he said 'I married Sandra' and she said 'No, Uncle Michael married Sandra' but he didn't like that as much.
They're such sweet children. I know they won't remember our wedding day, but I'm so happy we have pictures like this one to show them. DH and I started dating the week my nephew was born, so we've been together his whole life.
If only I could get him to call me 'Aunt Sandra' -- he refuses! lol
