Flower girl/Ring bearer poll

I'm curious to know how many of you are having a flower girl AND a ring bearer, or one or the other, or neither. I can't make up my mind and I keep going back and forth on it. It's actually driving me a bit nuts, so any reasoning behind why you are doing whatever you are doing would be great to know (if you don't mind sharing)!

We're actually having 2 FG's and one ringbearer!

We are having neither for two reasons.

1. We dont really have any young children in our families nor do we have close friends that have any young children.

2. I dont love the idea of having kids in my wedding anyway. They're too unpredictable.

Well, FH and I came close to not having a FG..but just a RB..but luckily we found another girl to fill the place of the FG...so now we have both

Our 4yr old daughter will be our FG. Since the only boy in the family is too young we're having FH's nieces (5&2) serve as RingGirls. I know it's not traditional but it works for us, I think it'll be cute.

We were only having a FG...our daughter! BUT then my sister had a baby...and i knew I wanted her plus shes my godchid! So we had 2 FG....then my hubby said how about Jack for a RB?! Hes the BM's son....so i went with it!

If you have any little ones in your life that are special for you, go for it!

I have two nephs and a niece. One neph is just a bit too young so I'm having my other neph and his sister as RB and FG. Not to mention FG is our god-daughter, so that's very special to us!

Having neither, but will have my 10 year old jr groomsman carry our rings down the aisle in a long stem silver rose, the top opens up and it is a little jew box with red velvet which will contain both of our rings. It will also give him something to hold to occupy him, you know how boys at 10 are,,,,i just though he was to old to be a ring bearer....

We're not having either. We don't know have any young children as family or friends that we're close wtih.

We chose Neither.

We did that because there are too many smaller children in our families and we didn't want to only chose certain ones, so we opted to have none at all

I don't think you have to follow traditional rules anymore... I was reading that a bride can have a male friend/relative be her MOH (He would be called her honor attendant)... and vice versa... a groom can have a female friend/relative be the BM...

So there wouldn't be anything wrong with having female ring bearers...
