Flower girls
I have a question about the flower girl's dress. Are most of you getting a mirror image of your dress by the same designer? Or are you just going with a pretty white dress no need to be similar to yours?

I bought my flowergirl a pretty light blue organza Easter dress from Macy's. It's cute, same color as the bridesmaid's dresses, and only $50... perfect! : )
I know I'm in the minority here, but I didn't see the need to have a 'mini-me' running around at my wedding.
They will be wearing simple white dresses with a sash that matches the bridesmaid's dresses
My sister-in-law (matron of honor) and I thought her daughter, my flowergirl, would look best not wearing white, she`s very fair skinned with ultra-blonde hair, plus the whole 'mini-bride' thing. We much preferred the idea of her being part of the girls, dressing in what the bridesmaids will be wearing. It`s a burgundy Bill Levkoff design that is being made just for her. Yes, the dress was expensive, but I insisted on splitting the cost because I know she`d love to be wearing the same dress as her mommy. And we all know she`s going to look adorable dressed to match the party.
But no matter what, the kids always look adorable, don`t they!!
I don't actually have any of the dresses yet. I am probably going to get either a wide ribbon or some sheer fabric to make the sash. I may also add some silk rosebuds on the 3yr olds.
