Hey guys, I just started visiting florists and apparantly flower girls have a few options. They can hold a small bo-k, toss petals, hand out flowers...I know my hall will allow them to toss petals, and thats what I'm leaning toward (cuz I had that idea in my head since I was a flower girl when I was 6!) What is everyone doing? Also, what are you doing with their hair? (Head wreath, etc.) Thanks!

Mine is way too young to be trusted to throw petals, she'll be just two at our wedding, so she is getting a flower ball to carry.

i have 2, and they'll be throwing flowers....i dont know about the wreath thing though i like those clips that have pearls on the ends ...i'll have to see!

My flower girls are the same age. The 3 year old should be able to toss petals. My friend is practicing with her daughter so she won't freeze on the big day.

im not sure yet....the 7 year old wants to toss petals but i dont know what to ado about the younger one. I was thinking of having her carry a ball boquet but i think once she sees her sister tossing petals i think she is gonna throw a fit lol maybe even try to take petals out of her basket and toss them with her.. lucky for me i have alot of tiome still to decide

My FG is going to be tossing the petals and holding her pretty little basket..I was once a FG, so I sure remember what that was like...

At my sister's wedding we had a 2 yr old, 5 yr old and a 6 yr old. They tossed flowers. The 2 yr old just followed what the other two were doing plus her mom had been practicing with her for weeks

i had the baby carrie a mini pomander and my older girls tossed petals. I originally wanted their hair half up with curls...but by the time they got to my house, their hair was herrendous from the rain!!! we had to fix it (luckily two of my BM's and my mom are hairdressers)..but it ended up looking SO adorable. I actually made them hair combs to go with their dress....i just bought hair combs from a convenience store...then when my BM's had their dress fittings I had them save the rose buds that were cut off (from when their dresses were taken in) and i hot glued them to the come. here are some pics....
I have 4!! (Ages 1 1/2 - 6) The 6 year old wants to wear a wreath so I think they all will\. For the flowers, I plan to practice with them and see how it goes. I'll make my decision from there!

I am having two. Both are 4 years old. Will be throwing petals.
Not sure what will they will have on their heads yet.
