Flower help

Hi everyone. I'm new to this and recently engaged! I've been reading through some of the forums and this seems like an awesome place to get advice!

I have a question about flowers. As of now our budget is between $1000-$1100. Can anyone recommend a florist in nassau/suffolk that can do the following for this price:

1 bridal bok- burgundy or purple calla lillies
1 MOH bok-roses (fall colors)
5 bouten.-roses
5 corsages-roses
10 LCP-roses and other fall flowers
delivery to Vineyard Caterers

Thank you so much!

Re: Flower help

I've read some reviews on National Floral 800bigrose.com can work with any budget. Just be very specific in your contract as to how many flowers per bouquet.

YOu should be able to get that no problem with your budget.
You arent asking for alot-I only spent about 600 more then you and got more boks, and bouts-so I think anyone should be able to meet your budget-especially if its roses

I would make some appts and tell them your budget and what you are looking for when you sit with them

Try Judy at Main Street Florist in Center Moriches - it sounds like you're looking for a package fairly similar to mine, except for the CP.

I don't recommend this vendor. In 2006 they were featured in the Channel Two News Hall of Fame of 'Shame on You'.

I would steer clear.

You should be okay since you're really only looking for roses which are easy for florists to stock and get!

Colonial florist in Bellmore (on Jerusalem rd) does great work and is very reasonable with cost. I have two friends who used them and both loved their stuff....One girl had way more than you and got everything for around 3k so you should be fine. FM if you need help getting their number.

Ask for Claudio (he's this stubborn old german man who really knows his stuff!) Just be firm with what you want and come in with pictures that way you get exactly what you're looking for....Like I said from my experiences with them they are great....

I agree, please steer clear. Check out the above and With All my Heart - they work out of East Wind and do great work!
