Anyone use Flowers by Brian? OR Beautiful Beginnings in Bethpage? Thoughts? =)

Flower Help - Long Island Weddings

I met with Flowers by Brian, and I was really turned off when I was told they do thirty weddings a weekend. I just don't believe proper attention can be paid when they are doing such a massive amount. I want a little more care and attention than I think a factory setting is able to provide.

i am starting my florist appointments next week and hope they can work with my small budget. i really have no interest in flowers and can't justify spending more than $2,000 (hopefully).

@guitarstikibars I too have no interest in flowers I'd rather spend my money on other things but of course my mother is like absolutely not flowers are so important ughh
The past 3 weddings I have been too used Fowers by Burton. I hear they really fit the budget and every flower is the same price. I am going to Doris the Florist next week, she is the vendor approved florist at my RH. Check to see who your RH recommend.

I'm using hidden Essence and so far I think they are great. She really tried to work within our budget

So a friend of mine told me she got her bouquets, boutineers and corsges at stop and shop.. Se said they were beautiful and she didnt have to spend the price of the bridal floral shops.. plus since they are not known for that they catered to her wedding. I dropped my pictures of what I want in terms of bouqets off to them last night and they are suppose to call me back with a cost..

Also there is that flower shop melville we arent suppose to talk about that charges the same price for every flower and it doesnt matter what flower you get. I am also going there sometime this week..

For you ladies that are not into flowers.. what are you doing for centerpieces. I have so many ideas but dont know where to start...

I love Lanterns for a non-floral CP or even a lantern with just petals or ivy/greens around the base. They visually make a big impression without spending big bucks. Also I know a lot of floral places even rent stuff like that, so you wouldn't necessarily have to invest the money in buying them.

This! Flowers were very important to me...I'd literally cover every inch of my wedding in flowers if I could. We met with Michele and she was great. Everyone I know who has used them has been happy.
