Flower Help Please

So I have met with two different florist, one was slightly more. Next saturday I go back to see some samples and then I will make a decision.

My questions are:

1) How much is everyone spending on flowers?

2) Should I visit one more florist?

I have only met with 2,

one quote was for 1200
the other for 1780

For 3 BM bouquets, 1 MOH bouquet, Brides Bouquet, 6 boutionners, 3 corsages, 5 high and 5 low centerpieces, mostly (if not all) roses

aprox 140-180 each for tall centerpieces

still working on the details of everything else.

the amount being spent depends on how much people are getting. I only got ceremony flowers and bunches of flowers for my diy centerpieces, so I would have spend significantl;y less than other people who needed, say 14 centerpieces. I also had 5 BMs, someone with 3 bms may have spent more. What do you need? Maybe some one on here got around the same amount and can give you an idea of their cost.

For Bride bouquet, 3 BM bouquets, 4 boutonnières, 3 corsages, 10 CPs = about $500

Visit a local florist that has been around for awhile and has done lots of weddings. They are so much more willing to work with you on prices - plus, at a third the price of what other places were asking for the same thing, you can't beat that!

I refuse to pay a lot for flowers that will die by the end of the night. I am using Wicks florist and with evertyhing including delivery fees we are paying less than 800.
