I really wanted all calla lillies. Bok and centerpieces. Just calla lillies, but the florist we went to (who I noticed a lot of girls on here are using) quoted me for a lot of $$. I thought roses were the most expensive flower.. but they said lillies are. Figures
Can you share your florist, the type of flower you are using, and an idea of what it's costing you please?

I really didn't know much about flowers either and as I looked, I think I ended up liking the most expensive flowers. Given that, here is what I found:
(I will also rank prices for what I asked for, it is probably different for others, so you should still visit yourself) #1 will be cheapest and #5 most expensive
Flowers By Burton: least expensive, not a glamorous office, and you just pay for the number of pieces you want. You can decide later what you want and even change the numbers. Only $50 deposit. #1
Flowers by Brian: office is like a showroom, moderate prices and they seem to have a large staff of designers. #3/#4 (tied)
Flower Barn: seems like Mike is the owner, designer and does take the time to understand what you want. It acrtually looks like a flower barn. #2
Flower Michele: John definitely knows what he is talking about - only ask to meet with him. Moderate prices with nice office. He has great pictures on his website and makes you feel like you are in good hands. #3/#4 (tied)
Stephans: Pretty large operation. Higher priced, but the quality seems high as well. #5

Re: Flower help please
I'm using a local florist and I looove her! She convinced me of my original idea and saved me THOUSANDS...literally. I'm usuing tall calla litllies now with a mix of purple flowers mixed in. Then it will be in this tall vase (which the guests CAN take home if they want) with some blue rocks on the bottom that light up. I will be getting a sample CP soon then I'll post up pick...
