I saw this color at the bridal salon the other day and I was wondering if any of you could help with some flower idea's. I love the color but I don't waant to over do the 'blue' if you know what I mean. Also do you think that it's a good color for the end of September? I stuck
lavenders and that family would be pretty with that color blue...If you go on the knot they have a section where you can search flower ideas by color...I believe they have a blue section and that might help..
I think that's a lovely color and would be fine for end of Sep. I consider it more of a jewel tone, not pastel so it would be fine.
As to flowers, I think a pale yellow to contrast might work but I saw this arrangement in blue which is really pretty.

You can do predominately white flowers with a lot of greenery and then hints of blue. Thats what my best friend is doing for her mid August wedding. She has the girls wearing blue so she didnt want to over do the blue either. beautiful greenery in your bo-k can really make an impact and blue and green look wonderful togetehr with the creamy white flowers.

That is a beautiful color for Sept, I am thinking about it for my June wedd. How did it look at the salon? Pretty? I love it so much. I would do ivory, pink flowers, I wouldnt do blue flowers, that would be tooo much. Maybe somethig like this

I'm not using that shade of blue, but I am using navy. I'm going with cream and light pink flowers with a little bit of blue delphinium to bring out the blue.
(I personally don't care for purple or lavendar, so I didn't go that route)

Once again I wrote a reply and by the time I was done it asked me to log in again. I hate that. But anyway - what is delphinium? The color is much prettier in person. I ordered swatches and tried on a couple of dresses that I like and didn't even know that that dress was one of the sample swatches I ordered. I didn't picture teal to be so pretty. You'll love it
That's a gorgeous color. You could do lavenders, or ivory or white, or pretty much any pink, although I think pale or dusty pinks would be best. I wouldn't do blue, it would be too much. You could even do greens, as long as they weren't lime greens. The sort of dusty greens of hydrangea would look great. Personally, I'd give the bridal party ivory flowers and the bride pinks or lavenders, I think that would look awesome.

BTW, that picture makes blue delphinium look really gigantic. It's actually a pretty small flower. That was just the best picture I could find. If you do a Google Image search for 'blue delphinium' you can find lots of pictures!

My BM dresses are an aqua blue sort of color, its lazaro lagoon, and i was also unsure about flower colors. you want the flowers to pop though. too much white, blue or lavender wont do that. you could go for pinks, yellows, oranges, or a mix. ask your florist!
