Flower in your hair?

Flower in your hair?

Any of you girls who wore a fresh flower in your hair with a low up-do... how did the flower hold up? Did it wilt by the end of the night? I'm considering doing this style, but I'm a little nervous about that. TIA

PS any pics would also be great for inspiration

i am also considering a flower ornament in my hair. don't want to have to deal with it wilting, so am wearing a silk flower.

I would go with a high quality silk-I have tons of sites saved if you need them. The more expensive ones look real. A friend of mine did silk peonies for her boquet because they were out of season when she got married and they looked awesome. They won't wilt and you wont have to obsess over it all night-your wedding should be about you and the hubby, not accessories that might give out.

Here are the links I have-first one is pricey but the quality is amazing. if I were not doing the clip my MOH bought for me, I would be wearing one of these-still might. Never know. The orchids and roses look sooo real!

I wore orchids in my hair from 8am to almost midnight.

They lasted fine. But if you are worried, the silk options sound great.

I haven't gotten there yet - but my friend lisa wore a flower w/ a low up due- it was beautful & lasted the entire night.
