actually, flower michele is not a 'she' - haha - the place is run by a guy named John.
As far as rates go, I thought FM's prices were good. But, even if a bunch of people were to tell you their quotes, it wouldn't matter much. It's going to depend on how many people in your BP, if you need ceremony decor, how many CPs you need, if they'll be high or low, what kind of flowers you want, etc.
Maybe if you post what you need, you'll find someone who is getting a similar package and then they'll share their quote.

I used FM and was satisfied and it submitted the lowest quote of the 3-4 florists we talked to. Per the pps' post, what you are thinking of in terms of flowers?

They were cheaper then two other florists I had went to in comp. to my flowers and arrangements except for one other florist. The other florist is kinda a crap shoot because they just said any flower for the same price which MAKES No sense because every flower has a diff. price depending on the season.

do you need bouts for your FH and his groomsmen? what about the father of the bride and father of the groom?
do you need corsages or nosegays for the mothers?
do you need flowers for church?
do you need flowers for your hair, petals to be tossed, cake flowers, etc.?

omg I didnt know there are so many things! I have no idea what kind of price I should be expecting. T.T im scared couple of thousand? Flowers arn't going to cost like $5000... right???

you walk in with a budget you want to spend. I said no more then 1k on flowers. They said what do you really need and what color and then you work from there.

ohhh so i can get flowers done for 1000?
I dont know how much they cost in general for wedding flowers so I didn't even know how much my budget should have been.

I went in to see Flower Michele and told him what my budget was and he was more than happy to work around it! He's so excited about what he does that it's a joy to work with him!

yea they work in what you can afford but I am not saying they will give you all you need for 1k. We didn't have corsages, we have a small wedding party, we didn't decorate our ceremony location and we have low centerpieces.
It is basically this is what we set aside for the flowers now fit what you can with in that budget

I never knew flowers were so expensive lol
now I know a range maybe with the stuff I need it'll be about 2000.. maybe even more.. I need to figure out now whats more important and start cutting down..

i'm not a flower person so my mom is taking care of the floers.. flowermichelle gave us the best price actually... and i also expected it to be loads of money.. but it wasn't.. it was the same price as pedastals but better because FM quote had high and low centerpieces.. pedastals didn't.. and fm throws in stuff like dais decorations, passing flowers and some other extras..

they all say they throw in dais, cake decorations, & toss boq, but believe me we are paying for it. Florists pay pennies for flowers & charge us quarters.
