Hi Everyone, I need some help. Today I visited both Flower Michele and Pedastals and really liked them both. There prices are basically the same (with Pedastals coming in a bit lower - nothing much). Can anyone give me recommendations of one over the other? Your experiences with them are most appreciated. Many thanks, Christina

I booked with Flower Michele- There work is amazing and their customer service is even better! John and Barbara are both wonderful! I have heard nothing but great reviews for Flower Michele!!

def flower michele, I had problems with pedstals fm if you want to know! i booked with flower michele, i worked with barbara and she was amazing! all the reviews are good on them too, HTH

Ok, I booked Pedastals for my engagement party and was going to book them for my wedding, until I experienced their flowers at my engagement party, I wound up going with Flower Michelle. The problem was that they delivered Dead Flowers to my engagement and they looked horrible and I was embarrassed because Everyone knew that I had paid for the center pieces...Let me not be so harsh, the truth is that They were MORTIFIED when they saw the pics of how bad the flowers were and More than made up for it by refunding more than half of what I paid, They went so far as to show up at my house and even bring an arrangement and a coupon for 500.00 off if I booked them for my wedding. They did go out of their way to recover their service in my eyes... I guess I was upset and decided not to book with them, (not to mention that I LOVE Barbara at flower Michele) The Point is that they both are of good quality, and I really think that if my party was a wedding Pedastals would not have let happen what happened with the flowers. So in general If you like them both, I would base it on who is willing to be most flexible with exactly what you want and who is willing to give you the best price
ETA: I Love Flower Michele, and used them not only because of the experience I had with Pedastals, but mostly because of my experience with them, the really go above and beyond! LOVE Em!

Just FYI...Flower Michele was voted one of the Best Florists in NY in The Knot magazine's Best of Weddings 2007. The other best ones were: Ariston Florist, NY NY, Blooms of Wayne, Wayne , NJ, Michael Bruce Florist, Wesmont, NJ and Westchester Floral Decorators, Pelham, NJ

they both do great work- but I personally found that John was exactly what FH & I where looking for- Although Nadia from Pedestal was really nice- either way- you will have gorgeous flowers.

you have to go with flower michele. I have had nothing but great experiences with barbara...she actually sat with me for over a half hour tonight to change my colors and such (3 weeks before the wedding- I'm crazy) and was so patient with me.
My sister also used them for my shower and people were raving about the centerpieces for weeks! Definitely go with them.

Definitely not Pedestals. I used them for my wedding and I was extremely disappointed. My husband's flower was almost dead, and some of my bouquet flowers looked the same. I had them decorate the cake and that looked terrible. To top it off, I personally brought material from my bridesmaid dresses to be wrapped around their bouquets, and right before we left for church, I realized they wrapped it in a different color (no call or information from anyone). When I contacted them, they did not apologize and said wrapping the bouqets is done out of courtesy. I hope that helps make your decision.

I went to see both and while we didn't book either for totally other reasons I liked pedestals the best. I didn't meet with john at FM I met witha different woman and she just didn't seem that enthusiastic(sp) about flowers and I didn't get a good vibe from her. We didn't go with pedestals only because of money. Otherwise they were the front runner HTH

when i went to pedestals they actually quoted me higher then Flower Michele. We went with Flower Michele because John just seemed like a more honest guy. He was very patient and great to work with.

FM without a doubt. I went to see pedestals and did not like the women I met with at all. She had no ideas and no imagination. Plus they were almost twice as much as FM. I booked with FM - Barbara is AMAZING and soo sweet

FM bride here! I just loved John's enthusiasm. It meant a lot to me when picking a florist. He really loves what he does, and it totally shows.

Flower Michele is great!!! I have change my whole entire color scheme at least 3 x times and John never even flitch! He gets better with each visit...When I was looking around I met with Pedestals and they were ok, didn't really care to much for their customer service..

I would have to say Flower Michele they are amazing there the customer service is just excellent and that's very important to me. Also John's arrangements looks like something straight out of a magazine.
