I just found out that John from Flower Michele died and am so shocked and saddened by this news :( Were any Flower Michele brides contacted about this, because I was not. I actually just found out on LIweddings today. Do you know if they're still in business?
They are still in business. They did flowers for my Nov 6 wedding and they were amazing. I was a bit worried after John passed away, but my flowers were beyond what I expected. You have nothing to worry about!
Yes, they are still in business. I emailed John on Monday and when I received no response I got worried. I called the shop to leave a message and Joseph called me right back. He's taking over all accounts for John. He said they've worked together for many years. He said the head designer as well as all other workers are still there. He is calling everyone and informing them and also letting them know that he will be taking over for John. I made an appointment for Wednesday to go over everything again. I was also very shocked and very very sad. I only met John once but felt like I've known him forever.
You are going to love Joseph..i booked with him after John's passing (I didn't even know John) and I have no doubt that he will make my wedding look amazing...not to worry!!
