i hate chasing after vendors. we are wanting to decide on flowers this week and they have yet to call us back!!!
it was so easy to get flowers by brian on the phone pedestals was super easy too even flower barn sent us a letter

update: john the owner sent me an em saying he spoke with fh briefly. this is the type of communication i love from vendors.
now i need to vent about fh not calling me.

Yeah I have had to chase some vendors too - but in the end, if they don't call you back, then i don't think its worth it. If they cant take the time to help you - then they are probably going to be worse if you book with them. I have to do the florist hunting too. Good luck!

i wanted to meet with her as well, but I was never able to get in touch with her so i went with Burtons.

So sorry!!! It could be worse... you could have a scheduled appointment with them, sit down with one of the workers, and then be told to 'hold on' while they text messaged for 2-3 minutes ....

I had the same problem and that was why i didnt go with Flower Michele, I highly recommend flowers by brian :)

I am STILL waiting to hear back from a few photographers that I contacted in the beginning of May. If you can't call me back, I can't book you for my wedding. They immediately got crossed off of my list!

I have a strict rule where this is concerned - I give you a week from phone call or email. Then - you're off the list.
That's how I've booked all of my vendors so far and I couldn't be happier

i do admit trying to get a hold of them is a bit tricky but when you do....you wont fret! john is fantastic! very honest and price conscious for the bride's sake. he is one of my favorite vendors. i hope your meeting goes well! he truely does great work!

Honestly I had the same problem with them. At one point I was so upset, that I was ready to just bag my deposit and find someone else. I would get a call when a payment was due but never a return phone call when I had a question or concern.
It was frustrating for me because I thought they were going to be the vendor that I wasn't going to have to worry about. They've done some beautiful work (esp. with lighting) and get great reviews on LIW.
I really love John, he's so sweet and always with a smile. But I was upset when he asked my why didn't I email him after not receiving return calls, 'Ugh hello, you never gave me your email and it's not on your website. My multiple phone calls over the 3.5 weeks should have been sufficient.'
Some of the work they did for me was absolutely wonderful, other was disappointing. Because of this I've been putting off my review. Thanks for letting me vent.
