Flower Michele vs. Spitz and Peck

OK, ladies, I could use some help.
Been a whirlwind planning week for us but now need to decide between our final two choices for flowers. Met S+P and FM and actually given that I had very specific flowers in mind (Roses and Callas) pricing was pretty similar. I walked away from the meetings feling more like S+P was experienced with high end sort of simplicity I really want and was a bit concerned with John--I went to him based on the advice of this board and just did not sense he was too into it at all. He did not knw about some things I asked and this worried me. That said, I have heard really miserable things about S+P on this board. So ladies...let me have all you can about both. Please be specific about problems and advantages and help a girl decide!!!

I think you will mostly get ladies telling you flower michele because I domn't know of too many using S & P on here.

Go with your gut and who you like best, not what everyone else does
I chose all my vendors that way and was VERY happy!

Our venue actually limits us to S&P or Stefans so I have been going back and forth among those 2. We have a meeting with S&P this weekend and I am pretty sure that we will book them. I have heard so many mixed reviews about them and other florists that it's hard to decide. But I have heard great things about S&P and they did my FSIL's wedding 7 years ago and they did a great job.

I think first reply on this was correct- most people on these boards use Flower Michelle, Jack & Rose, or Burtons. But there are a ton of florists and if one has been in business for as long as S&P- they must do a great job- right?

Like Jenn said, you have to go with your instinct not with what is the popular decision.
