Re: flower michelle brides...

I replied in the newlywed thread with pictures...I don't recall the exact quote. I think I once posted all the itemized prices for everything, maybe you can search for them...

I booked them because of John - his enthusiam and passion for the flowers totally sold me!

Re: flower michelle brides...

I also booked flower michele because of John. I had particular ideas in mind when I went in. He really listened to what I had to say and wanted me to explain exactly what I wanted. And he didn't pressure me into anything. I felt totally comfortable with him.

I haven't had my wedding yet so I don't have any pictures of a final product yet. I can share the pictures I brought with me if you'd like.

My whole package is coming out to about $2400. Thats for bridal bouquet, one MOH, 3 BM, 7 bouts, 4 corsages, bathroom, seating card table, cake, rose petals everywhere and 16 centerpieces. Great quote compared to some other florists I went to see.

Let me know if you want more info.

Good Luck!

Re: flower michelle brides...

I initially booked because I just got a great vibe from John as well. I went to Spitz and Peck first and HATED the guy that was helping me there...he didn't seem to have any creative input and every little thing was 'extra'
I saw my centerpiece over the weekend and I was really happy.

As far as the pricing goes, he wasn't the most expensive but he wasn't the cheapest either. His pricing is fair. I never once felt like I was being ripped off and after meeting him, I had no desire to try and find anyone who could give me the same stuff for less money. I think I'm getting a lot for what I'm paying and his enthusiasm is priceless. He's one of the vendors that I LOVE going to see. (Plus he never acts like I'm putting him out when I change my mind...or see something else that I want...which I'm prone to doing)

Re: flower michelle brides...

I booked him too because of his creativity and his enthusiasm. He was acting like it was his wedding and putting in as much time and effort as if it were his own.
As far as cost goes, it totally depends on what you are looking for and how big your bridal party is. He will not push you into anything and he will work within your budget. I have not seen my sample centerpieces yet, but he did say if I wasnt happy we will change things.
I definitely think you should meet with him. He is the only vendor I booked right on the spot and you will see why when you meet with him.

Re: flower michelle brides...

I also booked John on the spot. He's super nice and takes the time to discuss ideas with you. I never felt rushed or pressured. He'll definitely work with you and even if you change your mind about what you want after you sign the contract, you can change it. He's very accomodating and I think his prices are fair. He's a vendor that I never second guessed!

Re: flower michelle brides...

I couldn't find the thread either...here's what I remember.

I had 19 tall pedestals with candles (all french tulips) - $80-90 each

6 clutch bouquets (of those 2 MOH slightly bigger) - $50 each

my clutch bouquet (no throw away) - $115
2 mom's corsages- orchids $15
5 other corsages
13 bout - $5-7

plus 2 church pedestal arrangements - $100?
tulle on the pews $0
a flower arrangement on our table $0
2 roses for the mom's during ceremony $0

you can see pictures of all this here:
pictures of my flowers

I also had floating gardenia for the cocktail hour, and on the cake, but I don't remember how much those cost.

Re: flower michelle brides...

Hi - John was the first vendor that actually got FH reallly excited about planning this wedding. And for him to flip over flowers says a lot. There was no comparison between John and the other florists I met with. John knew exactly what i wanted and his attention to detail is amazing. This is my centerpiece sample.
