Just wondering what you girls thought of these two florists.
Besides price is there any positive or negative feedback you can give me?
I dont want to upset anyone who booked with one of these so please FM negative feedback.

I don't know anything about James Cress but I used flower michele and overall they were good. You can read my review for more and some pics of his work.

James Cress is a good florist but I found them to be overpriced for what I needed - that's not intended to say anything bad about them. Just shop around and factor in everything that is important to you. This site has plenty of great things to say about Flower Michele. Other places to try near Flower Michele include Pedestals and Flowers by Brian.

i used flower michelle, james crest is very close to my house and I would have booked with them, but there prices didn't compare for what i needed. i get all my day to day flowers from them though.

heard james crest was expensive but gorgeous My mom wants me to use him but I'm not planning on flowers I like candles better

Dont know anything about James Cress, but I love John from Flower Michelle. He is so easy to get along with and totally understood what we wanted from the beginning. good luck deciding!

Thank you guys! I am going to price out James Cress, to make mom happy, but then go to Flower Michele.. Sounds like i will get a much better price from them.. And being I only have about 2k to spend on flowers Flower Michele sounds like the way to go.
Also is it true that roses are one of the less expensive type of flowers?

Yes roses are one the least expensive flowers. Also, stick to flowers that are in season to help with your budget.

I looked at both florists and have also seen both florists work at actual weddings. James Cress does a phenomenal job. My friend's flowers were by far the most beautiful I have seen for a wedding. I took home the cp and it lasted for almost 2 weeks. It was these giant gorgeous pink and white peonies. Really something. Flower Michele also does an amazing job as well and John seemed very nice. My estimate with JC was $4,900 and for the same thing with FM it was $3900 so it's a pretty big difference. I would have gone with JC if I could have put it in my budget. If you do go to JC, make sure you ask to meet with the son. I met with him and he was great. My friend's have met with the owner and weren't too happy.
