We went to Pedestals over the weekend...now I am totally confused!!! At first I thought I wanted all pinks and browns for flowers but when we walked in, we saw this setup and I totally love it since it has all the fall flowers!
Please give me your opinions!!

Oops forgot to mention that every other table will hve the other pic with the branches and baby orchids draping down.....the ones in the pic will have more flowers all over the branches!

OOPS! that quote is for 22 all high centerpieces.....11 with the branch thingy ones and 11 with the flower ones in the pics.....I can change my mind and make them all of one, the price is still the same!

ask how much they charge per centerpiece!!!! thats ur BIGGEST expense. that way u see where they are getting that $$ from. then u compare.. and u also ask.. how they can lower the price. what options do u have.
7k for flowers is nuttss.. but u ARRE getting 22 cps.

that is pretty bananas.. have them break down each item! they should have done that for you- all the places i went to did. i wonder what theyre charging for the tree and the hanging...

I know - one place couldn't give me the paper, they had to keep it. So I have no idea what cost what........I thought the same thing that the price was kinda high.......I guess I am going back to the drawing board!!

ITA w/ barb and rita..sounds like WAY too much money. But then again, idk the price of the tree and draping.
Go back and have them break down the cost of each expense. then you'll see where they're charging you all th emoney.

what kind of drapings ur doing? sounds to me that could be the biggest expanse on that list, if it covers all of the ballroom's walls how much that was on its own?

as the others said-the quote is crazy!!! if you want that specific stuff though, i would just try different florists... insaneeeeee im paying 100 per cp for very full tall cps

The one florist told me the draping was $1200 and the other said $1000.....so I guess there is a big expense in itself.....I think I have to either change my taste a bit or look for other florists!

Well orchids are between $18 - $20 per stem (my FH is a wholesale florist and just asked him) so that is going to make the price per arrangement a little higher. The CP's are gorgeous though but if you are looking to save money you may have to use something besides orchids!

The price is high -- but similar to what I was quoted for high centerpieces like that. Those twings are expensive!! I ended up getting low CPs b/c I couldnt justify the cost
