Flower Petals

Flower Petals

I want guests to throw petals at us as we walk back up the aisle .. I was thinking of putting them in little bags on each chair .. or maybe putting bags of petals in a basket so people can grab one before walking into the ceremony..

Any Ideas?

I was planning on doing these as well but I have a stupid question: who fills them?? Do I leave the cones at the church and ask the florist to do it? Or do I have to have FH fill them that morning?? Or is there something I'm missing?

You know I was wondering the same thing. My florist said she'll give me unlimited petals but I dont know if she should fill them or if I should ask her to give me petals the day before and fill them myself or have BM's or GM's do that in the morning

Also, how many do you think I should order? We're having a really big wedding, 400 people but not everyone needs a cone .. right? I was thinking of getting 100 of them.. do you think that's enough? or is that too many?

I thought of doing it the night before but will the petals turn brown??

As for the amount, I would go with 100 - not everyone goes to the church and people can share with their dates.

Not sure .. I will have to check with my florist. I dont think they should in just one night but who knows ...

I went to a wedding this pas weekend where the bride had that. Someone at the door handed them out when you came in. They were put in a special doily paper like a cone and the petals were inside. It was really cute!
