b*urtons was by far the cheapest BUT he was also the only place to ask us to choose a filler AND he couldnt understand the concept of pale yellow (he pointed to a highlighter yellow flower and said that was the palest they could do!). idk that was just our experience - we went there b/c they have decent reviews on here!

My sister had a similar experience there. She left unhappy because he didn't listen to what she wanted, and there were certain things that she did want that he couldn't do.

I checked b*rtons out but they use to much filler for my taste. I felt like there was too much greenery.

I am going to designs by rose...they are amazing!!

I checked out 3 florists and it was a totally different experience at each.

I checked out B*rtons, Bella Flowers and Distinctive Floral.

B*rtons was the cheapest by far. I'm not really sure what I can and cannot say on the site, so if you want FM me and I'll let you know in detail my experience HTH!!!

WE BOOKED WITH FLOWERS BY BRIAN...THE OVERALL EXPEREINCE WAS GOOD...WE SPENT A LOT OF TIME GOING OVER DESIGN CONCEPTS AND PRICING....AFTER 4+ HOURS OF NEGOTIATING THE PRICE, FH & I GOT OURSELVES TO A PRICE POINT THAT WE FELT COMFORTABLE WITH FOR STUPID FLOWERS AND BOOKED! LOL

Re: Flower Places

I haven't booked flowers yet but went to a wedding yesterday that used b*rtons and I wanted to throw this out there:

The bouquets and boutonniers were stunning. The actual arrangement of the centerpieces were very pretty too, BUT... (and I only noticed this because I am still flower shopping and am being more critical... if I weren't looking for a florist still maybe I wouldn't have noticed....).... the centerpiece flowers did not seem to be at their full potential to me. The roses were unopened and looked a bit droopy on my table (not all tables looked as unhappy as mine). There was at least one big bright beautiful peony in every centerpiece as well, but the one I could see in our table's centerpiece was about 1/3 the size of the ones on the other centerpieces, and appeared to be dead or dying. Finally, many of the stunning blue orchids were tightly closed, thus hiding their beauty and taking away from the effect. I am sure that no one would notice these things but me and it's more about the overall look/effect, but I wouldn't be happy paying thousands of dollars for flowers that are unopened or dying.

To prove how nitpicking I probably am being, FH and I were at a wedding the night before where the arrangements were smaller and more understated, but the flowers were fresh, lush, and blooming (I have not yet asked who she used)! When I said I liked those flowers better, he said he thought the B****** flowers were prettier. SO, like I said, I may be being fussy, but if you are as reluctant to throw down lots of money on things that die fast like me, I thought this may be helpful lol.
