flower prices

flower prices

i had my first meeting with a florist today and i'm clueless about flower prices. they quoted me at $970 for the following:
my bo-k
5 BM bo-k
1 groom bout
5 GM bout
3 women's corsages(my mom, FMIL, grandma)
4 men's bout (stepdad, FFIL, 2 grandfathers)
10 low centerpieces

is this reasonable?

That seems extremely reasonable. Every time someone posts flower quotes, it always seems alot higher than that. Who did you look at?

no, i don't need a FG basket, she is giving me 3 toss bo-k's

roses for all the bo-ks and bouts, roses, pink lizzy, rosario atstro (i think - i can't really read the handwriting) and carnations (they are my fav flower) for the centerpiece.

I also used a local florist, and could not have been happier with the service we received or the price! I definitely would reccomend using a local florist to any newly engaged couple.
